"Sarf-ing Saturdays" with Ustadh Fahd Yasin includes:

  • Live class will meet Saturdays from 10-11am ET (timing subject to change) for app. 36 weeks of the year (3 Saturdays a month - schedule here: https://fawakih.org/more)
  • Each class will aim to cover major vocabulary words chosen from appoximately 5-6 pages of the musḥaf. This will follow the coverage of Quran in the "Line-by-Line" class, which is paced to cover approximately one juz per month. Areas of emphasis will include:
    • learn singular and plurals of important/frequent Quranic Vocabulary
    • explore a common Quranic root and related words
    • practice conjugation of chosen verb(s) in past, present, command
    • consider noun derivatives (i.e., mushtaqqāt)
    • preview augmented verb forms (i.e., 10 Verb Forms)
  • Open to all Fawakih students, regardless of level of Arabic study
  • No preparation required for any lesson - just join and enjoy
  • Only materials needed are a personal mushaf, writing utensil, a dedicated notebook (optional), and a highlighter

Subscribed students will have access to all class recordings as long as their subscription is active.
